Community Reporter Meet Up - Tuesday (monthly), Innovation Forum, 12.30pm - 2.30pm
Have you been on a Community Reporter training course? Perhaps you are interested in finding out more about it. Every other Tuesday from 12.30-2.30, we invite people in to imporve their Community Reporting skills, develop some new ones and set up their own creative projects.
Basic IT + - Monday 6th March 2017, Energise Centre, 10am - 12pm
Do you want to learn some new computer skills? Perhaps you have never touched a computer before but want to learn some basic tricks and tips? Using practical Community Reporting tools, this 5 week course will enable you to learn some new skills using computers and then put them into practice.
First Steps to Employability - Tuesdays and Thursdays starting on 28th February 2017, St Sebastian's Community Centre, 9.30am - 12pm
In this five week course, you will look at building a CV and develop job skills you will need to gain employment. If you find the idea of intwerviews or presentations really nerve wracking then this is the course for you.
Learning English from Scratch - Mondays 10-12pm, Salford Sports Village
On Monday mornings 10am-12pm at Salford Sports Village, we are partnering up with Europia to help offer English speaking courses to people who are living in our community and do not have English as a first language. Our Development Worker Natalie feels that our involvement with this project is vital; "It's important to help and support those people who do not have English as a first language. We are really interested in working with the groups and help them get involved with community projects.

Lunch and Learn (for the over 55's)
On Wednesday 22nd March at St Sebastian's Community Centre (11am-3pm) we are running a Lunch and Learn session all about Life Online. The course will cover internet security/researching health online and internet shopping. If you are interested, please register by ringing 0161 743 3625.
We run residents forums in both Charlestown and Lower Kersal. The forums are the opportunity for members of the community to come together and discuss what is going on in their area and develop ideas for the future.
The Charlestown Forum meets at St Sebastian's Community Centre at 3pm.
