Charlestown Riverside Development

The new houses are now starting to take shape in Charlestown with the first homes due for completion by the end of April. The first homes will be for social rent and managed by Great Places Housing Association. For more information about the development and the number of great opportunities coming up visit the new  portal http://projects.keepmoat.com/regenerating-charlestown.

If you have any questions or queries relating to the work or need any additional support please do not hesitate to contact Keepmoat on Charlestown.info@keepmoat.com

Second Flood Basin

The second flood basin on Littleton Road is now nearly completed and should be handed over by the end of May. A group of partners including ICT, Mersey Basin Rivers Trust, Salford City Council, Salford University and Broughton Trust are now working on developing a project to ensure the site becomes a place the community can use and value for many years to come.

We will work to -

  • Engage partners to support us to address environmental priorities across the area including flytipping/environmental improvements
  • Ensure any physical development in the neighbourhod delivers quality and added value for the community
  • Identify opportunities to minimise the impact of empty homes in the neighbourhood
  • Provide resources and work alongside partners to access additional resources for the neighbourhood to deliver against community priorities (linked to our neighbourhood consultation results and Forum priorities)
